One of my favorite sites on the internet is http://www.creators.com/opinion.html – for high quality opinion pieces written by leading americans. It presents a fair mix of left and right wing idealogy, and i’ve attempted to classify some of the authors in this list below. These aren’t blogs – they are opinion pieces worthy of being published in major newspapers. Infact you can try to encourage local newspapers to publish content – although given our partisan and belligerent australian media – i presume columns from the losers category would most likey be published by the Australian and even the ABC (thanks janet).

One of the best from this week is http://www.creators.com/opinion_show.cfm?columnsName=pbu

    Favorites:

    Patrick J. Buchanan
    Crispin Sartwell (http://eyeofthestorm.blogs.com/)
    Ray Hanania
    Joe Conason

    Losers:
    Michelle Malkin
    Bill O’Reilly
    Linda Chavez

    Oliver North

John, for some reason, when I follow the link from this page I get a snapshot of the Age blog at the time the link was posted. Refreshing it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

If you go via the Age website, you can see that substantially more comments have been made on the thread there than if you go through the link here.

    Odd!
