My five minutes of fame

I just got off the phone from an interview with the Wall Street Journal. Of course, you’ll all be agog to read my views on bankruptcy reform, social security, the trade deficit, the impending crisis of capitalism, and so on. You’ll have to wait a little while, however. The topic of the interview was bunnies vs bilbies.

  1. Personally, I prefer to give the kids the idea that killing and eating bunnies is better than killing and eating bilbies – better to get rid of the bunnies and there is also typically more meat on a bunny.

  2. “It’s Groundhog Day!”

Even in the midst of the GWOT the WSJ, that stalwart cheerleader for COWs everywhere, finds time and space to observe traditional media values: Australia’s hallowed role as the natural home of the endangered Light Human Interest story.

  3. AR, you should be careful about eating rabbit meat. There’s something called rabbit starvation, caused by the inadequate levels of fat which lowers the amount of fat-soluble vitamins among other things.

One cure is to eat their brains too, since that provides fat the rabbits themselves need for their own function.
