I can’t be bothered engaging with people who use “woke” as a pejorative, or similar Trumpist rhetoric. I’ve therefore banned a couple of commentators (Jack Strocchi and Svante) who persisted in using it, despite warnings. There are plenty of other places where they can bloviate if they choose. Anyone offended by my decision on this is welcome to a full refund on the way out.

Frank Bongiorno agrees with you on this John. In The Guardian he suggests the Liberal Party would be well served by banning the use of the word ‘woke’ at party gatherings.
The confluence of anti vaccine with the wellness movement, promoted by various celebrities of influence, has become both a lucrative industry and a significant political force, which has been of direct benefit to Trump.
Obviously ‘woke’ doesn’t apply to this bunch.
