I foolishly decided that I would do the upgrade of WordPress to v1.5 myself, rather than getting it done for me by someone who knew what they were doing. Four or five hours of frustration later, the upgrade is done, though I still have to reconfigure the template. Enjoy the default layout for the moment.
Update Well, I can get the main page working fine with the old layout, but the comments are a mess. The header is displayed in a botched form, when it shouldn’t be there at all. If anyone can give me advice on what to do, that would be great. Otherwise it’s the default layout for the moment.
Just testing
More testing
And more
One further test
I was sad when I didn’t see your welcoming face beaming at me and inviting me to comment on your posts, then I rembered that it was all just dream…just a dream…all just a dre..zzzzzzzzzzzz.
“Welcoming”? Wasn’t that the fellow who thought preferential voting was welcoming, though?
I had some problems with the default layout when I moved to 1.5. It turned out to be a browser cache issue, and clearing my browser cache fixed it from then on out.
Perhaps that’s not your problem, but it’s trivial to find out.
I certainly look forward to the return of the old familiar layout! 🙂
Will you be my psychoanalyst PML?
Hell, no. You have to want to change.
I just think the blue colouring is a bit wrong – the red is more approprite, if not that violent a shade.
I was not sure I had come here – I thought I was at Catallaxy.
From my own experience with WP 1.5, I think I’ll leave Troppo well alone for a while.
Don’t worry, this shade of blue is totally slimming.
Trouble is, the bloody sites DO want to change, without permission, and all on their own.
Stymied by the nature of reality – in their case the fact that their existence is contingent on lines of code – they are unable to do anything except sulk at unpredictable moments and insult people who want to comment. In my case, anyone who uses the word “jelly”.
You think I’m joking, don’t you..
Looks good John:)
